Maria Bonita UK Ltd – Wholesale Orders

Effective Date: December 2025


These Terms and Conditions apply to all wholesale orders placed through wholesalemariabonita.co.uk and Whatsapp/ text message.

By accessing the website and placing an order on any of the other routes, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

2. Website Ordering

2.1 Order Placement

  • All wholesale orders must be placed via wholesalemariabonita.co.uk and WhatsApp.
  • Please take care to review all order details before submitting, as production is scheduled shortly after the order deadline.

Order cut-off times:

  • Sunday before 2:00pm
  • Wednesday before 2:00pm

These deadlines apply to:

  • New orders
  • Amendments
  • Standing order changes
  • Cancellations

Orders placed after the cut-off times are considered confirmed and final.

If you miss the deadline and need to amend or cancel an order, you are always welcome to text or WhatsApp us during working hours to see if there is any possibility of making a change. We will happily check what can be done and will always aim to be as accommodating as possible.

Please understand that once production has started, changes may no longer be possible. If we are unable to accommodate the request:

  • The order will be prepared as originally placed,
  • Delivered on the selected delivery date, and
  • Refunds cannot be offered.

We truly appreciate your understanding, kindness, and cooperation, as this helps us continue delivering high-quality handmade products for all our wholesale customers.

2.2 Standing Orders

  • Standing orders can be managed through WhatsApp or by contacting us before the stated cut-off times.
  • Changes requested after the deadline may be considered upon enquiry but cannot be guaranteed.

2.3 Order Confirmation

  • Once an order is placed on website, an automated confirmation email will be generated to acknowledge.
  • Once an order is placed on WhatsApp, we’ll answer you with a small message or emoji. This will confirm your order.
  • Orders placed via email are not valid. We don’t take orders through emails anymore.

In rare cases, we may need to adjust or decline an order due to availability, capacity, or pricing errors, and we will always communicate this as clearly and promptly as possible.


3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing

  • All prices displayed are wholesale prices and may vary between customers.
  • Pricing is bespoke and based on volume, ingredients, seasonality, and production requirements.
  • Prices may change from time to time, with reasonable notice provided wherever possible.

Discounts or incentives are offered at our discretion and may be reviewed or withdrawn as business needs change.

3.2 Payment

  • Payment must be made via the payment methods available on the website, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Full payment is required at checkout unless the customer holds an approved monthly account.

Monthly account customers:

  • Statements are issued by the 5th of each month
  • Payment is due by the 15th
  • A 5% late fee will be applied to overdue balances

While we aim to send statements on time, delays may occur during busy periods. Customers are kindly asked to keep their own records so balances can be easily confirmed once statements are received.

3.3 Discount Changes

Due to rising production and ingredient costs, discount structures will be reviewed from January 2026.

Customers affected will be contacted directly in advance with clear information regarding any changes.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled or amended only before the relevant cut-off times (Sunday or Wednesday before 2:00pm).

If the deadline has passed, customers may still contact us by text or WhatsApp during working hours to see whether a change is possible. We will always check and respond with care and fairness.

If we are unable to accommodate the request:

  • The order will go ahead as planned
  • Delivery will take place on the originally selected date
  • Refunds cannot be offered

4.2 Refunds and Quality Concerns

  • If there is any issue with your order, please notify us immediately upon delivery or collection.
  • Refunds or replacements will be offered at our discretion, depending on the situation.

Once products are accepted without issue, we are unable to offer refunds for:

  • Late complaints
  • Change of mind
  • Storage or handling issues after delivery

5. Delivery and Collection

5.1 Delivery

  • Delivery is available within a defined radius of our bakery.
  • Orders outside this area may incur additional charges via an independent courier.
  • Delivery fees may change any time, with notice provided where possible.

5.2 Collection

  • Collection is available by pre-arranged appointment only, as we operate from home.
  • Please arrive at your agreed time.
  • Missed collections may result in product loss, and refunds cannot be offered.

6. Product Information and Allergens

6.1 Product Variations

All products are handmade with care. As a result, slight variations in size, colour, or appearance may occur. Images on the website are for guidance only.

6.2 Allergens

Our kitchen handles:

  • Gluten
  • Dairy
  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Peanuts
  • Soy
  • Sulphites
  • Sesame

We are not a free-from bakery. While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their own customers.


6.1 Dietary Lifestyles

At Maria Bonita UK Ltd, we love baking for everyone. We create products suitable for a variety of dietary lifestyles, including:

  • Vegetarian
  • Vegan
  • Customers who prefer cakes made without gluten

Our aim is always to be inclusive and thoughtful when baking for different needs. However, because we bake for many different lifestyles, this does not mean that we are a “free-from” bakery.

We are a small bakery and work from one shared kitchen, using the same utensils and equipment for all products. While we take great care with cleaning and preparation, there is always a possibility of cross-contamination.

6.2 Allergens & Important Information

We do not claim that any of our products are completely free from allergens or specific ingredients. Even when a product is made without a certain ingredient, small traces may still be present due to shared equipment and preparation areas.

We do our very best to look after everybody and to bake for as many people as possible. That said, we kindly ask customers to understand that:

  • We are not a certified free-from bakery
  • We cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens
  • Consumption of our products is at the customer’s own discretion

Ingredient and allergen information is always available, and we are more than happy to answer any questions before you place an order.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content, images, logos, and branding remain the property of Maria Bonita UK Ltd and may not be used without written permission.


8. Limitation of Liability

Once an order has been delivered or collected and accepted, Maria Bonita UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for:

  • Allergic reactions
  • Injuries
  • Improper storage or handling

Ingredient and allergen information is provided to support informed decisions.

9. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect personal data necessary to process orders, manage accounts, and communicate with customers. Your information will never be sold or misused.

10. Changes to These Terms

Maria Bonita UK Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on wholesalemariabonita.co.uk with an updated effective date.
