Rustic apple and brown sugar cake

A rustic apple and brown sugar cake made with soft apples, warming mixed spice and a moist sponge. Baked by us since 2020, this long-standing favourite is loved for its comforting flavour, tender crumb and traditional, homemade feel.

Ingredients:

Self-raising wheat flour (WHEAT, GLUTEN) (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin, raising agents: calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate), brown sugar, butter (MILK), eggs (EGG), apples, icing sugar (icing sugar, maize starch), mixed spice (cinnamon, coriander, caraway, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, allspice), salt.
